Familia Reyes

Some of our favorite jobs are not for businesses at all. This run was hot pink hats for La Familia Reyes — pink and white, stitched right here in Lompoc for a family that has supported the shop more than once.

A saturated color like hot pink is unforgiving. The thread has to sit clean against the crown with no fabric showing through, so we run the design at a density that fills solid without going stiff. On a hat, that balance is everything.

White lettering on a bright crown is a classic pairing for a reason — the contrast reads from across a parking lot. We matched the pink and white so the family's name is the first thing you see and the last thing to fade.

The Reyes family has given us the opportunity more than once, and repeat work is easy on our end — the digitized file is on record, so a second run comes back faster and stitches exactly like the first.
