Terrones Plumbing wanted one cap, done right — a grey New Era 9Fifty snapback carrying their logo in red and black. A plumber lives in a hat all day, so it had to look sharp on the truck and survive the crawlspace.
The 9Fifty is a structured snapback, which is exactly what a two-color logo wants. The front panel holds its shape, so the mark sits flat and crisp instead of slumping the way a soft cap will. We built the embroidery to take advantage of that — clean red-on-grey with the black holding the edges.
Two colors sounds simple, but it's where digitizing earns its keep. We set the stitch order so the red and black register clean against the grey, ran a stitched-out proof, and got a thumbs-up before the run. The file's kept on file, so when a new hand starts or a hat wears through, the next one matches the first one exactly.
We're right here in Lompoc, so a Central Coast plumbing outfit doesn't have to mail-order its identity. Drop the logo off, see a real proof in thread, and we'll come back with caps that look like the company means business.
Embroidered caps that hold up on the job — that's the kind of work we like. Send a logo and a count, and we'll take it from there.
