Village Dirtbags

Another one for our friends from the Village Dirtbags. When a client comes back for a second round, that tells you more than any review could, and this local cycling club has become exactly that kind of regular for us.

It started with a chance to make some Flexfit caps for the Dirtbags, a cycling club that rides our Central Coast roads. A Flexfit cap is a good call for riders, the stretch-fit band holds snug under a helmet and the structured front keeps the club mark crisp instead of letting it pucker on a soft panel.

Before the run we digitized the logo and ran a stitched-out sample, then matched thread colors so the caps and beanies read as one set. We proof in hand so the mark sits the same on every piece, whether it's a cap front or the fold of a beanie.

We kept the file, which is what makes a repeat client easy. When the Dirtbags need another batch, the new caps match the first ones exactly, so a rider who joined this year ends up with gear that matches the crew who started it.
