Baltazar Family Wines

Baltazar Family Wines wanted something with a little shine to it, so we stitched a sample snapback in gold metallic and white thread — a combination that reads rich without going gaudy. For a family wine label in the Santa Ynez Valley, that balance is the whole point.

Metallic thread is its own craft. It catches the light beautifully but it's less forgiving than standard polyester — run it too fast or too dense and it frays, so we slowed the machine and tuned the tension to keep the gold smooth and the white crisp beside it.

We built it on a snapback so the flat front gives the metallic mark room to shine, then stitched out a single sample for the family to see in hand before any production run. Gold against white on a clean panel is a sharp look, and it had to be right.

Being close to Santa Ynez wine country means a family can come see the metallic against the light in person — that sheen is hard to judge from a photo. Drop the logo, see the sample, approve it, and we keep the file so the next batch matches.
