Rock 12 Distillery

Rock 12 Distillery makes spirits worth showing off, so when they came to us for new merch, the hats had to hold up next to the bottle lineup. We built a run of custom trucker caps in three colorways — grey, tan, and red — each carrying the Rock 12 mark stitched clean across the front.

Three colors means the embroidery has to read on all of them, so we tuned the thread and underlay to sit crisp on light tan and deep red alike. One digitized file, dialed in once, then run across the whole set so a grey cap and a red cap look like siblings, not cousins.

We photographed the caps right alongside the spirit bottles, because that's how they'll live — on a shelf, behind a bar, on the heads of folks who like what comes out of the still. Structured trucker fronts hold a logo upright all day, which matters when the cap is part of the brand.

Stitching local brands is the best part of this job. Rock 12 is right here on the Central Coast, and so are we, just up the road in Lompoc, so the whole thing happens face to face — drop the logo, see a proof, approve the run.

Twelve caps gets a custom run going, and because we keep the file, the next batch of Rock 12 hats will match these exactly. Cheers to the new merch.
