- Two full stitch-outs run side by side so the client could choose on real caps, not mockups
When Liquor Emporium came to us for hats, we didn't stop at one design. We worked up two directions and stitched both, so they could put the choice in front of the people who'd actually wear them.
That's a way of working we like. A hat isn't a mockup on a screen — it's a real object with curve and texture, and some logos only reveal their best self once the thread is in the fabric. Running two stitch-outs side by side takes a little more time, but it takes the guessing out.
Each version started the same way ours always do: the logo gets digitized — rebuilt stitch by stitch for the crown of a cap, not just traced. Density, underlay, and stitch direction all get tuned so the mark sits crisp on a curved front panel.
Structured caps are one of our favorite canvases for exactly that reason — the firm front holds a logo sharp for years. If you're weighing blanks, we wrote up which caps take embroidery best.
If you run a shop on the Central Coast and want headwear your regulars will actually argue over, we'd love to stitch you a real proof — or two. Send us the logo and we'll take it from there.
