Windrun Wine

Some drops are just fun, and the new beanies for our friends at Windrun Wine were one of them. They wanted soft, wearable merch for the cold months, so we put together a run of ribbed beanies in olive, mustard, and dusty rose — colors pulled straight from the label.

Matching apparel to a wine label is its own small craft. We eyed the bottle, picked blanks and thread that echoed the palette, and stitched the Windrun mark so it sits clean on a folded ribbed cuff. The result is a set that looks like it belongs next to the bottle, because it was built to.

Embroidered beanies are forgiving and durable — the ribbed knit hugs the stitching and the mark holds up to a winter of wear on the Central Coast. We digitized it once, proofed it, and kept the file so the next Windrun drop matches this one.

That's the upside of a nearby Lompoc embroidery shop: a winery can swing by, see the thread against the label in person, and tweak before we commit a single stitch. No mailing samples back and forth across the state.
