Royal Oaks Wine

Wine is all you need — and a good hat to drink it in. For Royal Oaks Wine we ran metallic gold and pink thread on a black snapback, and the combination earns its keep: rich, a little celebratory, and unmistakable across a tasting room.

Metallic thread is the diva of the spool wall. It's stiffer than standard polyester and quicker to fray, so we slow the machine, back off the tension, and use a larger needle eye to keep it from shredding mid-run. Done right, it catches light the way flat thread never will.

Black is the best canvas for it. Against a dark snapback, gold reads as gold and pink stays vivid — no fighting the background. We proof on the actual cap so the client sees exactly how the metallic behaves on that fabric before we commit to the run.
