We were genuinely glad to take this one on. Care4Paws SB does work that's easy to root for — providing essential veterinary care for homeless animals around Santa Barbara County — so when they asked us to embroider a run of beanies, we were happy to put our thread behind the mission.
We stitched the logo on the front of each beanie and a paw print on the back, so the cause reads from every angle. A knit beanie is a particular canvas — the stretch and the loft of the fabric can swallow fine detail — so we dialed in the stitch density to sit clean on the knit without puckering or pulling the cap out of shape.
Before the full run, we digitized both marks and pulled a stitched-out proof to check them on the actual beanie blank. The logo had to read crisp on the front and the paw had to land clean on the back, every cap matching the last. Once it looked right in the hoop, we kept the file so any reorder comes back identical.
There's a real purpose to a piece like this. Every beanie someone pulls on is a little bit of awareness walking around the Central Coast — a quiet nudge toward a cause that's saving animals who don't have anyone else. We were proud to make gear that does some good while it keeps a head warm.
If you're a nonprofit or a cause here on the Central Coast looking for gear that helps spread the word, come find us. We're right here in Lompoc, we'll treat your logo like it matters, and we'd be glad to help you put your mission on something people actually want to wear.
