Efren's Restaurant

Efren's Restaurant opened a new spot in downtown San Luis Obispo, and we got to design and print the shirts for their soft opening. "Peace, Love & Tacos" is the kind of line that wants to live big across the front of a tee, so we built the whole job around making it read bold.

This one was screen print, not embroidery — the right call for a graphic this size. A big, flat design on a shirt belongs on the press, where the ink lays down smooth and the artwork carries edge to edge in a way thread never could.

We worked up the design, set the screens, and pulled a proof before the full run so the placement and colors landed exactly where they should. Soft-opening shirts have one job: to look sharp the night the doors first open, and these did.

Screen print and embroidery live under one roof here in Lompoc, so whether a job wants ink or thread, it comes together in one stop. For a graphic tee like this, the press was the obvious home, and we kept the artwork on file for the next run.
