El Culichi

El Culichi — Tacos y Mariscos, birria and seafood off the truck — came to us with a logo that earns a double-take: a shrimp dressed as a chef. It's a fun, detailed mark, and detailed marks are where the digitizing really matters, so that was the first thing we got right.

They wanted it on flat-bill snapbacks in two looks: a clean blue and a camo. The blue gives the shrimp chef a calm backdrop to pop against; the camo asks more of the embroidery, since the pattern wants to compete with the logo. We sampled both and ran stitched-out proofs so the little chef read sharp on either front.

Food-truck caps work for a living — sun, grease, long days on the line — so we built these on structured flat-bill blanks that hold the logo upright instead of letting it wilt by month's end. Embroidered properly, a cap like this keeps its shape through a whole season of service.

We kept the file on hand, so adding a colorway or restocking the blue is a matter of pulling it up and running it — same shrimp chef, same placement, every time.
