Jonesy's Fried Chicken

Jonesy's Fried Chicken opened their new spot in Goleta, and we got to stitch the team caps that show up for the first shift. There's something good about kitting out a kitchen right as they open the doors, when the whole crew is still finding their stride.

We took their mark and digitized it for the front of the cap, then ran a stitched-out proof on the actual blank before committing to the run. A logo only looks effortless on a hat when the stitch density and placement are dialed in first, so that's where we spent the care.

Kitchen caps work for a living — fryer heat, long shifts, plenty of washes — so we built these on a structured front that holds the logo crisp instead of letting it slump after a season. Embroidered the right way, a team cap outlasts the opening rush by a wide margin.

We kept the file on hand, so when Jonesy's adds a cook or wears through a batch, the reorder lands identical to the first — same thread, same placement, no drift. And yes, we tried the Korean Nashville Hot Sandwich while we were at it. It's a must-order.
