Ready for lift-off — we ran a batch of custom hi-vis safety jackets for our friends at SpaceX, and it's not lost on us what that gear is part of. The launches go up from Vandenberg, just over the hills from the shop, and outfitting the crews on the ground is an honor we don't take lightly.

Hi-vis is its own discipline. The fluorescent shell and the reflective striping leave you working within tight panel space, so we plan the logo placement and the decoration method around keeping the garment's safety rating intact while the brand still reads clean and sharp.

We proofed it before the run, the way we do with any batch. Whether a hi-vis piece calls for embroidery, heat transfer, or screen print comes down to the fabric and the placement, and we'll match the method to the garment so the mark holds up without compromising the high-visibility it's there to provide.

These get worn on real work days, so we built them to last — gear that looks as squared-away on the last shift as it did on the first, through the weather, the wash, and the long hours a launch site asks of a crew.
