Stica SY, a pizza spot up in Santa Ynez, came to us for a batch of corduroy hats — and we had a good time making them. Corduroy has a texture and a throwback feel that's a little different from a standard cap, and it carries a clean logo beautifully.
That ribbed surface does ask a bit more of the digitizing, so we sampled the mark on the actual corduroy and ran a stitched-out proof before committing. The ridges can swallow fine detail if the stitch density isn't right, and a real proof is the only way to know it sits clean.
We built these on a structured front so the logo stays upright and crisp instead of sinking into the wales. Embroidered properly, a corduroy cap like this holds its shape and its look through plenty of wear.
We kept the file on hand, so if Stica wants a restock or a second colorway down the line, the next batch comes off the same source — same placement, same look, no drift.
If you're craving good pizza, go check Stica SY out — and if you're a Valley spot that wants a cap with some character, bring us your logo and we'll stitch you a proof you can hold.
