Stroke Awareness Oregon

This one means a lot to us. We had the chance to run a batch of embroidered swag for Stroke Awareness Oregon, an organization doing powerful work to help people recognize a stroke and recover from one. When a cause like that asks us to put our thread behind it, we're glad to.

Awareness gear has a job beyond looking good — it carries a message into the world, so the logo has to read clean every time someone pulls it on. We digitized the mark, pulled a stitched-out proof, and matched the thread before the run, the way we do for any piece that goes out wearing a name we respect.

We kept the work simple and right. The swag had to hold its color and its shape through real wear, because embroidery that outlasts the cause it's promoting is the whole point — a logo people keep wearing keeps the message moving long after the event is over.

Distance didn't change the standard. This run went out from our Lompoc shop all the way up to Oregon, and we treated it exactly like a job for a neighbor down the street — proof in hand, file kept on record, every piece matching the last.
